Abstract

The paper presents an investigation carried out by professionals of Physics – Renewable Energy (RE) and Pedagogy areas, whose aim is to spread and teach RE. Therefore, it is set forth the training of a group of secondary technical school teachers under the modality known as In-service Teacher Training, through which the inclusion and the recurrence to techno-computing material will constitute a significant contribution. The research produced complementary approaches: RE curriculum insertion in middle school, in-service teacher training in the primary school, and collaborative action research among teachers. In order to characterize the subject of the category “in-service teacher training”, interviews are carried out, and stories and school class narrations are collected, from which conceptions, representations and training schools are elucidated. Teaching material is tested through successive field analysis. The results of the qualitative research permit to recognize, in a moment, orientation patterns of the above mentioned teacher training, in relation to the use of techno-computing materials when teaching.

Keywords: in-service teacher training; renewable energy; multimedia material.
