Learning Communities and Worlds Entwined: the bases of a dialogic pedagogy which generates equality

This article presents the “Enlazando Mundos”, a project developed by a Group of Investigation in Intervention for the Promotion of Education Equality – “Enlazador de Mundos” - and formed by different educational and social agents who are concerned and mobilized when faced with the deterioration of the public education scenery, which affects the educational institutions with vulnerable social and economical backgrounds in Chile, where many students suffer from exclusion of the educational process. The project is based on an educational and social model, entitled Learning Communities, founded by Ramón Flecha in Spain (1998), entirely with a dialogic characteristic that aims the transformation of public school through social interaction, allowing the increment of cultural capital by the students.
