With the arrival of Peronism government, Argentina begins a new stage in its history. A number of important social restructuring especially for the working class will be the characteristics of this period. Particularly in education, Peronism run a program of transformations involving all levels of the system, guiding mainly the technical aspect. In this sense, rural education not stay aside from these changes and will focus on education policies at primary and secondary level especially. The following article, the result of a wider referred to the history of rural education in Salta research, seeks to account for the transformations carried out by educational policies to the rural education at the national level, but mainly at the jurisdictional level northwestern Argentina. We analyzed both in its development policies linked to rural public primary schools, as well as those concerning the technical guidelines and practices of the medium.
