About the OJS-PKP system
Open Journal Systems (OJS) is a free and open source tool that allows you to create and manage academic journals online. OJS was created by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), a nonprofit organization that seeks to improve the quality and impact of academic journals.
With OJS, it is possible to manage all stages of a magazine's editorial process, from receiving articles to online publication. The system facilitates peer review, quality control, metadata standardization, indexing in databases, publication in different formats and digital archiving. Furthermore, OJS is adapted to the demands of open access journals, encouraging openness and broad dissemination of scientific knowledge.
OJS is widely used by publishers, universities and research institutes around the world to support the production and distribution of academic journals. It contributes to the advancement of academic communication, ensuring the reliability of the editorial process and facilitating open access to research.
