Good editorial practices

The Electronic Journal of Education offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge available to the public free of charge provides greater global democratization of knowledge.

The journal is committed to publishing original and unpublished manuscripts, and the author must declare that his text is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the editor".

Any form of plagiarism will not be accepted (Law nº 9.610/1998), the works submitted by the authors to this Journal must be original and will be verified with anti-plagiarism software, before being sent for evaluation.

If it is identified that the text was submitted or published in another journal, or any form of plagiarism or self-plagiarism, the text will be disregarded and the Editorial Team of REVEDUC will contact the author informing its archiving.

It is the obligation of the authors to correct or present evidence about the veracity of the research when the authors themselves or third parties identify errors and/or inaccuracies in the texts.

In the case of participation of human beings in the research, a consent form in research must be sent in Supplementary Documents proving that all procedures were carried out in accordance with laws and institutional guidelines or the appropriate committee to evaluate. The right to privacy of individuals and institutions must be guaranteed. Products, procedures or equipment that may pose some danger to research replication must be identified in the text.

Authors must declare their agreement with the journal's rules, confirming the reading of the Guidelines for Authors and Publication Rules.

REVEDUC adopts procedures that avoid conflicts of interest during the evaluation stages of submitted articles. To ensure the integrity of the blind peer review, for submissions to the journal, every possible care must be taken not to reveal the identity of authors and reviewers during the process. This requires authors, editors, and reviewers (who are likely to upload documents into the system as part of the review process) to take some precautions with the text and document properties:

- Authors must send the manuscript in the template available on the Journal's website without identification;

- The evaluators must follow the instructions provided in the evaluation form for the referees, removing any identification mark.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, allowing the work to be shared with acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

The names and addresses informed in this magazine will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication, not being made available for other purposes or to third parties.
