Abstract

This article attempts to develop a reflection about the distinction between Theory and Methodology in scientific researches and in the elaboration of texts in Human Sciences. It intends to present, in the first part of the text, the nature of these two dimensions with an exemplification of a quotidian situation, as well as an exemplification of a situation more specifically related to the scientific field. The main objective of the article is to contribute with students and professors of social and human knowledge fields, giving some practical suggestions and means for understand and clarifying some aspects related to Theory and Methodology.
